S60

The S60-platform turns your S60-based mobile phone into a small computer. An S60-based Samsung MIT supports all of the contemporary applications users expect to find in their mobile phones now. Moreover it has an intuitive colour user interface which provides for very easy operation of your Samsung MIT.

By means of the S60-platform you can download additional applications, access your e-mails and the internet and you can use its games or music functionalities. With an S60-based Samsung MIT you can use several applications simultaneously without having to close applications which run in parallel.

The S60-platform also provides for comprehensive opportunities for individualising your mobile phone. It allows you to individually arrange the display background, symbols, colours and graphics. You can rearrange and adapt the menu according to your needs. S60-based MITs support USB, Bluetooth®-radio technology and infrared-communication so that you have flexible access to your PC. This enables you to easily transmit photos, music files, documents and applications as well as to synchronise diary entries, contact data and e-mails.
